We’re excited to announce the start of our 2021-22 NK Academy Tryouts!
King Nation is pleased to announce the return of our North and Central NK Academy teams. We are looking for players in grades 4-12 (Boys)
For the 2021-2022 season, the Northern Kings will field up to 2 boys teams per age group. The teams will be:
- 1 x CYBL team
- 1 x OBA / OBL team
Tryouts for all teams will be held between September 12th and 19th 2021.
The tryout evaluation process will comply with the recommended COVID-19 protocols. Please note that players will be subject to temperature checks and screening before entry. Please stay home if you’re not feeling well!
About the Premier League
The Premier League will be among the top youth basketball programs in Canada, featuring teams from the following GTA clubs:
- Northern Kings
- Canada Elite
- Bounce Elite
- Grassroots Canada
Season
October 2021 to April 2022 (subject to change due to COVID-19)
Please note the following:
- Max 40 players per tryout
- $15 with pre-registration
- $25 walk-in (space permitting)
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ins will be turned away if the gym is full.

When: Sunday, Sept 12th 2021
Grades 4/5/6 9am – 11:30am
Grades 7 11:30am – 1:00pm
Grades 8 11:30am – 1:00pm
High School Boys
When: Sunday, Sept 12th 2021
Grade 9/10 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Grade 11/12 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Final Tryouts will be held on Sept 19th
